Did the first set of wall sit yesterday, then went out and didn't get back until after midnight so I missed the second :(

 

For the plank twist things, is that 25 each side or 50 each side?

Twisty planks done with EC.

Current Big Fat Hairy Goals:  Hip to Waist Ratio down to 88%.  Capable of 50 pushups, 100 situps, 20 pull-ups in one massive superset.  Able to do a bodyweight bench press.  Run 10K 1/week for 1 month.  Earn 2nd Degree Black Belt.

 

Why?  Because I want to model the kind of health and strength that I want my girls to have when they grow up.

Why?  Because I want to model the kind of health and strength that I want my girls to have when they grow up.

Today I learned that my arms are short and weak. I'm not a triceratops. I'm a damn t-rex.

I did the best I could but it was more of a tricep dip hold than an L-sit. My butt left the floor. My feet didn't. Held it for 30 seconds but I'll hold off on points based on you guys' verdict.

Edit: darebee.com says feet on the floor counts but no EC.

L-sit complete, but no EC. Not sure how one is meant to hold their legs in the air.

L-sit complete without EC. This is one of the things I'm working towards, but right now I can get a grand total of one second or so with my legs in the right place before I do a slow topple forwards and have my feet resting on the ground...

I'd say a second is quite good to be honest! Managed a minute with my feet down, but nothing with raised feet. Think I'll be making this a future goal too!

L-sit?  no.  that's not happening.  I can sit in an L (on the floor).  I can raise up my butt (slightly) and hold that up but the feet as well?  no.  

 

whenever we have L-sits at xfit I use the parallette bar thing (the white pvc tubes put together so it looks kinda like handles??).  With those bars I can sort of hold a knee to chest position, so a squished C but definitely not an L.  I attempted but could not hold an L for even one second.  

 

no dare completed and obviously, no EC.  sadly, there goes my hold on first place...

I was able to do it on two chairs, but couldn't get my feet off the floor.  

 

I would think that would be worth 0 points, especially after watching the how-to video.  That said, I love the progressions, and I will totally be adding this, along with the 100 air squats from previously in this session into my daily exercises.

 

So 0 points, but all sorts of inspiration.
