I'd love to go sub-160 for next week's weigh in, but that seems unlikely without tracking. Regardless, I'm looking forward to going into maintenance mode and having a bit of a mental break from this. Sounds like a good approach going into summer! Maybe your body is just ready to coast on maintenance for a bit. 1 Quote Level 19 Ravenclaw Rebel "Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become." DrFeelgood
06/07: 210.0 (-4.0) Calling it early since I won't be able to weigh in at my customary interval. But I grabbed a quick check this morning while home for a brief visit between hospital stays and that's the number I got. Actually it's the second number I got since 210.1 was the first one and I waited until after another morning pee to check it again. I'll be around for the next PVP, but I can't even begin to predict what life is going to look like going forward from here. Still working to crack 200 this year, so I'm on this train until it stops, fails, or explodes. 2 1 3 Quote He has showed you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? Jeez, slacker hehehe Life has been so insanely hectic between work and the kids being here. I'm doing okay though. My Coach and I were just talking this morning how my photos I took yesterday look compared to the photos when I first started with her on April 20th. WOW. The scale hasn't really moved much at all, but the photos say so much. Epic body recomp I didn't even realize until I took a look at those comparisons. I'm proud of myself! We have the beach next week so I'll be focusing on doing the best I can with Coach's goals. Kers and I are looking into getting a gym pass for us to go work out Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday (we arrive Saturday and leave Wednesday) so at least the two of us can keep each other accountable and get in some good movement to start the day right. She's 100% on board with helping me meet my goals as best as possible given the situation. We both know it won't be perfect but there's things we can do to improve and get closer. So thankful for her. Even though the numbers aren't were I set my goal for this challenge, I'm very happy with the progress made. Excited to continue and hopefully I can be a bit more involved going forward ❤️ 6 Quote You don't have to be perfect, you just have to be better than you were before. Jarric
18/03 - 164.9lbs 25/03 -163.9lbs 01/04 - 163.1lbs 08/04 - 163.5lbs 15/04 - 162.2lbs 22/04 - 162.2lbs 29/04 - 161.2lbs 06/05 - 160.8lbs 13/05 - 160.1lbs 20/05 - 160.8lbs 27/05 - 161.5lbs 03/06 - 161.0lbs 11/06 - 161.7lbs I'm cheating a bit here, I weighed in yesterday and for some reason the scale gave me 163.4, despite having said between 159.2 and 160.7 all week. So I weighted a day, and I'm going to finish with that Tuesday weigh in. Overall I've only lost 3.2lbs this challenge, which isn't great, but I've also lost 1.25" off my waist, so that's something. As I'm going into maintenance for the next few months, I'm also going to look at my numbers since 1st January for comparison: 01/01 - 174.4lbs - 37.75" 18/03 - 164.9lbs - 35.75" 11/06 - 161.7lbs - 34.5" Clearly a lot of the big wins were in the first 3 months, but that's ok; it's always easier to lose when you have more to lose and when you're fresh and excited to do it. Now my goal is to stay at 161lbs +/- 2lbs until the end of September. 3 2 Quote Level 21 Wood Elf Ranger STR: 18 - CON: 22 - CHA: 11 - SAN: 19 - INT: 17 IAgreeWithTank™ "Shit is going down, but I am not." - iatetheyeti Don't say "I don't have enough time", say instead "that's not a priority right now" and see how that makes you feel. I set a pretty ambitious goal to lose 11lbs in 12 weeks, considering I had three trips during this time - including a cruise with an unlimited drink package! Overall I'm really happy with having lost even half of that goal, and having a pretty steady downward trend. I forgot to measure my waist this week, but it'll be interesting to see if there's been any change there as well. I think this summer is going to be a very slow rate of loss (or maintenance) since we have a lot of travel planned while the kids are out of school. But I've really enjoyed the extra push to stay focused on weight loss this spring. Thanks for running the show @Snarkyfishguts - we're going to miss you this summer, but enjoy your downtime! 4 Quote Level 19 Ravenclaw Rebel "Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become." But I'm very aware this is going to be water retention and various things as i haven't been feeling super the last few days (summer colds suck). chances are it will drop off again when i weigh next week (also don't see how i can have put on 4lb when i only went over last weeks cals very slightly and am weighing things, so ?♀️. Ho hum) other than that, number have started moving towards the end of the month, which is good, and progress is being made. 3 Quote the creative spelling comes as standard. Enjoy!
