scissor hands done last night with EC.. it felt like forever before the timer went off but so glad I managed even with the tingling arms.. men-- these dares really push you. they look easy but don't be fooled!

and 50 jump squats!!?? they are the same to air squats??

I think in air squats you bend your knees in the air, bringing your legs up so you're in a squat position in mid air. In jump squats you just jump at the top of your squat but don't go into the squat position in the air. Am I making sense?

The animation on the darebee page is clearer than I am.

Jump squats are regular squats, where you jump up out of the squat position and land back in the squat position at the end of your jump.

Squats were a major part of my regular workout today... I did about 190 altogether, in various compound thingies (with different dumbbell lifts and whatnot). So, I jumped for 25 of them but more than that was killing me. It was 25 in a row, though... So, half of the total + EC = 1 point? *eyelash flutter*

If not, I'll do 25 more later and skip the EC, ye tuff basterds.  Holding off on logging it until I get the all clear.

Nope, you've got to do 50 to get the first point for the dare. 50 in a row to get the EC.

OMG, I'm doing it wrong. I thought you could have the EC if you do the dare ONCE in one go.

I did the 100 leg extensions twice because I was recording myself and I'm not satisfied with my form. But I did the two sets in one go. Can I have the EC for that dare? :)

For the scissor chops, well unfortunately I just did once but all in one go. So I guess there's no EC for that?

For today's dare, I did 50 jump squats in one go (with 10-15sec break) but only once. So maybe, I could do another for the EC?

I think you misunderstood me just now. You understood it correctly the first time. If you do it once in one go (or whatever the EC rule is for that day), you get both points. The first point is for doing the total number for the day, regardless of how you had to break it up. The second point is if you meet the EC requirement. You don't have to do it twice.

Are we all clear:  50 once but broken up over the day is 1 point.  50 all in a row (by itself, not in addition to the first 50) is EC.  The EC is doing 50 all at once, rather than broken up.

Which is all to say that I did 50 in a row, which is worth 2 points, because it meets the EC requirement.

No points for jump squats.

I stepped on a stone while running yesterday and ankle did a funny sideways thingy that was really painful. After a bit of rest I did most of the rest of training, but after 10 jump squats I had a very solid feeling of "better not". So I didn't.

Boo, no plank jump ins for me. I've got a clicky hip that hates them. I'll stick with the step out, jump in burpees in my workout this morning.

Missed the dips.  My daughters were flower girls in a wedding, so that was pretty much my entire day.  But I'll get those plank jump-ins today, after breakfast or so.
