punches one of the fun things about being an adult is if I really want cake for breakfast, I can just have it.  Another fun thing is I can just say no to an exercise I really don't enjoy and don't want to do.

 

single leg hop ?  30 sec each side, one knee argued.  I need to stretch apparently.  part of warm up

sit-up elbow strikes ?  hip flexor ouch.  part of warm up

60 seconds single leg hops - ?  (30 seconds each side)
40 sit-up elbow strikes - ?  (20 each side)
30 jump squats - ?
2 minutes balance hold - ?  (1 minute each side)


The first 20 sit-up elbow strikes went well. The last 20 were with deteriorating form and/or short recovery moments.
Same with the jump squats: 15 went ok, the rest were in groups of 3 or 4 before a short breather.

I should have gone for 2 minutes each side for the balance hold, they were easy enough...

@Chesire, sorry for leaving you hanging this past week.

 

I'm back on my regular routine now, and did my entire week's worth of DailyDare backlog as part of my workout today. ?

 

 

80 knee strikes - ? (part of my warm-up)

60 seconds bear plank hold ? (part of my warm-up)

20 stacked push-ups  ? (2x10, part of my workout circuit, replacing the regular push-ups - little difference, though)

30 knee-to-elbow  ? (part of my warm-up - form deteriorated quickly after 20, but maybe I shouldn't have done them as knee-to-elbow sit ups)

2 minutes backfists  ? (part of my warm-up)

30 reverse crunches  ? (2x15, part of my workout circuit, replacing the reverse crunch swipers)

30 glute flexes  ? (part of my warm-up)

2 minutes W-extensions  ? (2x 1 minute, part of my workout circuit, replacing the wall slides)

60 seconds knee-to-elbows  ? (part of my warm-up - not performed as knee-to-elbow sit ups or I would probably have to nope out of the exercise)

30 single leg bridges  ? (finished my workout with these)

 

 

There's a reason my workout was only 2 circuits instead of 3 today... ??
