Sloth the Enduring
I'm not dead. I'm also not going to try to do a full update on a phone. I was eating about 600 calories a day for a few days. I finally turned that around on Saturday. I kept riding, but it was a real sufferfest while that underfed. I lost weight everywhere but my belly. New Orleans was fun. We did all the stupid tourist stuff you can do in one day. Tank's wedding was good. It was great being able to meet so many nerds at once. I wish I could have made more time to hang out with them. We drove all day today and only made it to Muskogee OK. Gonna have to drive like Heck tomorrow to make it home. 14 Quote “We might as well start where we are, use what we have and do what we can." – Caitlin Rivers Sloth: The Man with the Hammer battle log Link to comment

Sloth the Enduring
7/11/17 Tuesday I just woke up. Seriously I slept the whole day away. The Muskogee RV park was sketchy as heck. It was more of a mobile home lot of last resort. We drove 12 hours (it's slower with a camper) and made it home last night. I didn't get to stop for BBQ in Kansas City as was the plan. Slothgirl woke up with slothbelly and we decided to just get home with minimal stops (a lot because of belly issues). Today I need to pack and organize for the Red Ribbon Ride, do enough Yoga to calm my back (and call a workout for the PVP), tune my bike, and get an easy 20 miles in. 15 Quote “We might as well start where we are, use what we have and do what we can." – Caitlin Rivers Sloth: The Man with the Hammer battle log Link to comment

Sloth the Enduring
7/12/17 Wednesday I was exhausted again today. I woke up did a couple chores and took a long nap. I think we're going to have to skip the eclipse. Long driving days are too hard on everybody, especially since it'll be the day before school starts back up. I can't believe we ever drove straight through from Minnesota to the coasts. I was more resilient when I was a younger man. On today's agenda is to finish packing for the Red Ribbon Ride, tune the bike, drop off my gear, yoga, and an easy ride. The ride starts tomorrow at 6:00. If we camp where I can charge my phone I'll check in. Otherwise I'll see all you fine people Sunday night and I'll replete you with tales of endless headwinds and sore tushies. 12 Quote “We might as well start where we are, use what we have and do what we can." – Caitlin Rivers Sloth: The Man with the Hammer battle log Link to comment
