A deliberate part of my game strategy, knowing how some of my past efforts have stallled out due to a little here, a little there and then losing momentum. I know what order I'm going to go through the whole house. Going for the easiest wins first to build my powers to slay the biggest monster.... the spare bedroom, otherwise known as "The Pit." I have managed to quarantine most of mine and - barring a few knickknacks and some clothes and jewelry that are hiding out in the bedroom - that SC now dwells in The Pit. Dusk Posted September 24, 2015 Report Share Posted September 24, 2015 I threw three bars of soap away because they caused the worst acne outbreak of my life... so those are now gone. That puts me at [103/903]. I'm two items away from the item count for day 14, so I'm gonna use the next couple weekdays to focus on school, and then use some of my free time this weekend to do another (hopefully massive) dedicated purge. Like others have mentioned around here, I can't just get rid of one thing and call it good - if I'm gonna get rid of a thing, I have to go through all the related/nearby things too. Maybe that's why I find it so hard to get rid of things, because I haven't set aside dedicated sorting time till now... But anyway. Finishing my laundry and paring down my wardrobe even more are the next tasks. (Upwards of 5 loads of laundry were hiding under my bed... I had no idea it had gotten so far out of hand. I realized very quickly, that if I use them, then I have to wash them...... yeah, that's not happening... So they've been collecting dust in my pantry for 7 years..... The only reason I've held on to them is because they're cute.... I have a lot of stuff like that. I read or see some article about something like having a carnival themed birthday party for the kids, and then I start picking up "props" that are "just perfect for...."
