Hello all!

I've been lurking around the site and community for a while now so I figured I'd take the plunge, register, and try to get somewhat involved.

My name is Matt. I'm 25 years old, I've been in shape before but I really let myself go haha.

I was working out 4 days a week doing Jim Wendler's 5/3/1 program and was seeing some pretty decent gains. Then I went through a particularly painful break up and used that as my stupid excuse for why I couldn't work out.

Now, I've got my mind right, I've got a plan set up to stop eating the processed junk that I've been eating, and I'm planning on doing Stronglifts 5x5.

Onto the goals.

Basically I'm 5'11" and right now I weigh 240lbs. If I could get down to 180lbs I'd be ecstatic, but realistically I'd be alright at 200.

I'd also like to build my strength back up. I'm not entirely sure what's considered "good" but I'd like to get to the point where I could squat at least 200 lbs and bench press the same.

I'd say at this point I'm kinda rambling haha so I'll go ahead and end it here. This seems to be a community full of genuinely good and knowledgeable people and I look forward to making some new friends and learning as much as I possibly can.

-Matt
