Hello from Canada

I certainly need more arm strength and my core strength is just so-so. My goal is to finally be able to do one pull up. The guys at parkour do 15 after training and I just hang on the bar. It's a start, but I'd like to be able to play in their league one day. However, I don't know if lifting weights is the best way to get there for me. I'm quite green when it comes to athletics, but this community seems quite vibrant, so I'm sure I can find my way ^_^
