Kevin Mack
I love to read. On top of the illustration books I have been working on. Dust On The Sea (a really old book I got at a benefit)Starting to re-read the dresden files from the beginning. My collection of James Bond books that I bought 10 years ago and never read. I also read and reference You are your Own Gym and Real Men Do Yoga. I read them once through every month or so. I've read the first six James Bond books. They are hit or miss. Casino Royale was both my favorite book and movie. Moonraker was the worst movie but a really good book (nothing in common but the title and the protagonist) and From Russia with Love was another that was great as both a book and a movie. blkhole24601
Is it healthy trying to read multiple things at once? (To be fair, I'm technically listening to some of these...) I just finished reading/listening to:Bossypants by Tina Fey (highly recommended!)Dracula by Bram Stoker (I'm in a play that's heavily based on the original novel, so I read/listened to it)I'm currently listening to:Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett (almost finished, and this makes me sad, so I bought the book so I can read it over and over again whenever I need a pick-me-up! Already ranked as one of my favorites!)I'm currently reading:New Rules of Lifting for Women by Lou Shuler (almost finished and will incorporate the training plan for my next few challenges!)Set Your Voice Free by Roger Love (I will start reading this again as soon as I finish NROLFW)Shards of Time by Lynn Flewelling (I'll probably jump headfirst back into this as soon as I finish moving and finish listening to audiobooks because my commute won't be godawful anymore) Quote Vicki | Sheikah Bard | Level 13 STR 32.5 | DEX 51.1 | STA 25.5 | CON 37.1 | WIS 26.0 | CHA 31.3 blkhoe24601 Gains the Power to Revolutionize the World Past Challenges: 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 2016 Battle Log Link to comment

Milk Eggs Vodka-didn't like this as much as expected, but it was fun/quickThe perks of being a wallflower - had seen the movie already, so not really surprising. hard to say i enjoyed it because of the disturbing-ness, but a good read. Astreja
I'm going through my book collection with a "use it or lose it" mandate. Currently I'm halfway through The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin, and on my e-reader I'm into the last 100 pages of Don Quixote. This is the most I've been able to read in a long time, and I suspect that increased physical activity and now a low-carb diet are helping. 1 Quote Astreja K. Raxie
Finally dove into the A Song of Ice and Fire series. I'm a bit over halfway done with A Game of Thrones and am completely loving it. I don't know why I put it off for so long. It's probably because I know it will be all I read for a few months, and then I will finally let myself watch the show. So there goes like 6 months of my life. Haven't been able to finish this one, I typically love Palahniuk but this one just seemed gratuitously disturbing. Honestly only the first two short stories really got to me, the rest of them weren't so bad. The overarching plots worth getting through some of the worse ones IMO. Especially since some of Palahniuk's more recent books haven't been too great. Mistborn
Jitters, I plan on getting to that series sooner or later, although I think I will probably go through most of his other work before that. Including another attempt at reading the entire Wheel of Time series. I tried about 6 years ago and lost steam in book 5. I wonder if I can get through all of Sanderson's works, and the Wheel of Time series, before the next Song of Ice and Fire book comes out... Right now I'm taking a short break from Sanderson after finishing Well of Ascension. I'm reading Dragonquest by Anne McCaffrey. Yes, I'm just now reading through the early novels in her Dragonriders of Pern series. Don't judge me!
