ninjakitten
I like the idea of a week focusing on mobility a lot. I have no real clue what to do there as it depends a lot on everyone's level. Maybe something like this workout by darebee or some simple sun salutations, etc. and do it every day? Or some stretching routine before each workout? (I think we all have different goals when it comes to how many workouts we do, but we could just calculate percentages to make it comparable?) 1 Quote Link to comment
deftona
SHOUT Haha. I was thinking the first one (run/bike/walk) could be a total mileage one? Both teams track their total miles on a group PM and any purposeful exercise counts towards the total. The team who have travelled the furthest wins? 2 Quote If it's not siesta or fiesta, I'm not interested. Profile picture credit : NF's resident super artist - NinjaKitten Link to comment

The team with the most minutes of yoga/stretching wins? Guess that might be easier than finding a routine that everyone is happy with. And it might keep me from rushing through to be done with stretching. But a yoga routine vs regular stretching are quite different when it comes to the time you'll end up with. Quote Link to comment

Raze
For strength we could do a BW AMRAP circuit where each set counts for points. For example AMRAP 10 minutes 1 burpee / bends and thrusts5 push ups / incline / decline10 flutter kicks can be increased to 4 count20 BW squats ^^^ all scaled to your current ability. or a ladder. each set increases by one rep. for example set 1 do each exercise once set 2 do each set twice. and after say 10 minutes the highest rep count for each exercise. push upjack knifesquatjumping jacks 1 Quote Level 1 Nord Epic Quest STR 3 | DEX 3 | STA 2 | CON 3 | WIS 3.5 | CHA 4 Original Challenge | 1ST | 2nd | joining the bebop | Return to the rangers | Spoiler "They wouldn't mind a corpse of you. ninjakitten
Agreed. Starting tomorrow everyone will track their water intake for a week. In liters off course Does coffee and tea count? Or just water? Awesome! I'm in favour of anything metric! (Or a function in the spreadsheet doing all conversion.) Maybe just say anything with no calories (so no sweetened drinks, no milk, juice, etc.)? I do have my own stretch routine I do after a strength workout, I would love to make that count too. The options I see:- Select two mobility routines (easy and intermediate) and count the number of times one goes throught that routine- Count the number of minutes spent stretching or doing yoga- Count the number of poses/stretches and hold each pose/stretch for 15 seconds Yep, and if everyone gets to pick their own routine we don't have problems with someone not being able to complete some exercise etc. (I'm pretty bad when it comes to stretching my legs e.g., but they truly do need it. ) I'd say count minutes. Stretching isn't meant to be done in a rush. But we could just see what everyone else prefers. I have an hour and a half yoga routine that kicks my ass. Oh, would you share? I'm interested.
