There are a bunch of exercises like flutter kicks that when done together will destroy your core!

You're hired to make a new circuit for the next challenge :)

Assuming you still want to join the next pvp after Team Pancake has destroyed team Waffle off course :tongue:

 

I humbly accept the challenge. I can't leave team waffle behind even if my entire team will turn coat as soon as team french toast opens up in the next one!

 

I am open to any criticism of this circuit. (other than no more squats i will balance the exercises more next time)

 

Does everyone have a set of playing cards?

I don't mind the squats...but 10 per set might have been a bit more balanced..  

 

Playing card workouts sound like fun....  in a tortuous kind of way.

I agree it isnt bad if you are doing a couple of rounds, but once you start trying to get close to 10 sets in a workout it starts to go overboard. a 1, 5, 10, 15 or a 1, 5, 10, 10 would have been more balanced

 

When I first did this there was a group of about 10 of us. we would do a 1 mile run, go through the deck of cards and then another 1 mile run. It is a fun easy way to go off and haze yourself for 30 - 45 mins. In case anyone was wondering Jokers are used and they are especially painful!

That sounds interesting. Never heard of of a workout using playing cards. 

I'm curious what you'll come up with.

 

I like the part that you can scale the exercises. For someone who just started strength training the lowest intensity is killing as is :P

Every workout I will come up with will contain the ability to be scaled. Although there are some things like flutter kicks, crunches, russian twists, side straddle hops AKA jumping jacks, star jumps (i forgot about these :D) that can't be scaled down.

Flutter kicks can be scaled by the number of seconds you hold them, with crunches you can do reverse crunches, hanging knee tucks or knee to elbow. Jumping jacks you can do slowly to make it easier.

Tomorrow the 5th challenge will start.

We'll be working on flexibility. Count the number of minutes spent stretching or doing yoga. The team with the most minutes wins this challenge!

I've been slacking on my NF yoga. I've only done one round thus far and my yoga mat came in the other day just in time for this challenge!!!

 

Me too! I've only done water A and only done it once so this challenge will be a great motivation to try the rest of them. I didn't get the yoga mat because I figured it would take ages to get here (to England) but I wish I had, my current yoga mat sucks. 

If it's not siesta or fiesta, I'm not interested.
