(I used to be called "stick girl" in school) Now I'm putting on some weight and I don't like where it's going. I am 5' 3" and 130 pounds. I'm looking in the mirror and I'm seeing a double chin and my dresses that I bought just last year aren't fitting any more. I also want to be more healthy. I know I have a vitamin D deficiency and (think) my bad carbs are high. I wanna get a handle on that. My favorite games are Tomb Raider Series, Dragon Age series and Mass Effect series. F!Cousland Posted December 12, 2012 Author Report Share Posted December 12, 2012 Well I plan on working out every other day, taking a walk everyday, and eating less carbs (Even thought it'll be hard because of the holiday season). So far I've drank no peppermint hot coco from mcdonalds. Less carbs. (Not eating all the delicious cookies that mom brought home, cutting back on the noodles) More meats. (sorta going by the paleo diet). I've lost 2 pounds so far. Link to comment

Have you thought of setting a few trackable goals such as "not eating at McDonald's / fast food for two weeks?" and then identifying what you will eat instead -- because we all know that the reason fast food is attractive is because it is fast. If you want, you can think of it as a Lara Croft moment to keep pumpkin seeds (I love the tamari-roasted ones!) and almonds in your desk or car and some more healthy and still quick options at home. Also, a week or two might be the easiest to keep your sights on so that you can tweak it as needed and it isn't a death march. What kind of workouts are you doing?
