turboseize
There is a saying in the (german) army "a soldier without an entry in the disciplinary file is no soldier". Mistakes happen when people don't care - or when they care to much. (Or when they have cared too much for too long a time and get worn down). You obviously do not want too many of the first, but the others are the ones you need quite a few of in your company and you will be glad to have them, regardless of their disciplinary history. 6 Quote Rowing, rucking, running, lifting heavy stuff. Sloth the Enduring
I didn't mention that I didn't go to Monster Trucks on Saturday. I forgot that I had a Daddy/Daughter Dance. Slothgirl and I got dressed up. I no longer own a dress shirt, dress tie, dress socks, or dress shoes, but after two months of clean eating I fit my old suit again. So I put that on with the rest of me looking causal-business-like. Slothgirl was impressed, she said,"You look like a president! But not the new one, the old one." . We danced several times for about 30 seconds. Each time she smiled and laughed and instantly got embarrassed and sat out. It was a nice time. Mrs. Sloth went to Monster Trucks and found it tedious. I suggested she'd have enjoyed it more if she bought the giant beer and nachos. Every item at the dinner was an IBS trigger. Since it was South Minneapolis I assumed they'd have a vegan option, but they didn't. I ate the dinner. The repercussions weren't terrible. I wonder if that is because of all of the pro- and pre-biotics I've been consuming. Valentine's Day was chill. Mrs. Sloth thought dinner and a babysitter was too stressful so I cancelled those and the family went out to the Global Market where I ate a Tacocat burrito. We're going out for sushi on Friday; she found a good groupon. Mrs. Sloth loved her Afghani scarf thing. 15 Quote “We might as well start where we are, use what we have and do what we can." – Caitlin Rivers Sloth: The Man with the Hammer battle log Link to comment
