I think if you make it through the entire deck, you deserve more than one point. That's just my two cents for my future self.

 

would 30 points per deck work? would be a maximum of 210 points per person.

This way it wouldn't put of those that don't want to kill themselves on top of what they might already be planning, plus it leaves some incentive for the overachievers of the group (looking at you Scotty)

I shall change it to that 5.2 points per deck, 1 point per 10 cards. that way we can also allow people to do half and partial decks. 

 

I kind of think an additional point should be up for grabs for completing a deck. (my .02c regarding involving partial decks)

I shall change it to that 5.2 points per deck, 1 point per 10 cards. that way we can also allow people to do half and partial decks.

You could get rid of the point cap for those who hate themselves and want to do more than one deck

Yes. More details will come before the first week. But we will be deciding on 6 weekly challenges and then the order, or at least deciding on week 1's challenge. We have a spreadsheet to compare each team's score but we don't enter any data until the week is over since each team keeps their daily scores secret until the end of the week for the big reveal when team pancake beats team waffle.

Also Terah can we make a bendy mini following the haze week again? (that way everyone wont hate me for very long) :D

1) Drink water, tea or coffee (with no sugar, milk, sweeteners or any other funny stuff). Count the ml/ounces of other drinks you have (this includes diet soda, smoothies and juices!). The team with the least ml/ounces wins.

2) Strength workout

3) Sleeping. Count the minutes you lie on your bed/couch with you eyes closed. It only counts if this leads to actual sleeping. Savasana and meditating don't count ;)

4) Eat your veggies. Do we count the number of different colours we eat, or the number of potions (min 80 gr of one kind of veg)?

5) Mindfulness challenge > Any thoughts?

6) Still open, anyone have a good suggestion?

4. I think it should be portions of veggies but they have to be different veggies. So if you eat 160g of carrots, that's still one portion. We could do colours in another PvP though because there's definitely scope there. 

 

5. could be the same as the unofficial challenge in week 0 where we choose one of the options.

 

6. should be another mileage or fitness minutes goal I think. 

If it's not siesta or fiesta, I'm not interested.

6) Cardio minutes. Count the number of minutes you do cardio workouts (walking, running, dancing, biking, elliptical, etc.)

 

 

4. I think it should be portions of veggies but they have to be different veggies. So if you eat 160g of carrots, that's still one portion. We could do colours in another PvP though because there's definitely scope there. 

 

 

We could transfer the other one to the next challenge, good idea :)

 

 

5. could be the same as the unofficial challenge in week 0 where we choose one of the options.

No you can choose any of the varieties when you start a deck. This gives you a bit of variety to go through the week. and actually works quite well with the point system we developed yesterday.

 

O and sleep is fine people are going to need it for recovery :P

I know that's helped me register when I'm full in the past. (Or does mindfulness mean something else like focusing on long term goals?)

There was a list of items somewhere in the abyss of the last pvp. Most people chose the active meditation route though.

No, it can definitely mean that. These are the possibilities Spookyfoot came up with for the last pvp. I particularly like the idea of mindful eating. 

 

Pick one of these goals:

1. commit to one week of meditation, just to see how it affects you

2. mindful eating- really making sure you only focus on what you are eating, no distractions, just you an your food, taking the time to notice tastes and textures and seeing how this affects your eating habits

3. mindful observation- look at a plant or an organism (bug/bird/whatever) and really notice it as though for the first time, see how this brings you into the present. For the challenge maybe one moment per day?

4. Listen to music mindfully- close your eyes, put on headphones and play a new piece of music, emptying your mind, and getting swept up in the sound

5. Game of fives- notice five things in your day that usually go unappreciated. Then report back here
