Briniel
Hello everyone I didn't find an answer to this via the search, so here goes: What tracks do you have on your workout/running playlist? Which songs always get your spirits up and absolutely need to be on there? Thanks for your input, I really need to set up a good playlist for my next running session. Last time my phone was suddenly playing christmas songs.... Quote "The way you spend your days is the way you live your life" Challenges: Current | 9 | 8 | 7 | 6 | 5 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1 Link to comment
johnpeltier
This is by no means a typical running song, but I always kick it into another gear when Muse "New Born" comes on. Quote Link to comment

KnightOfHvn
Oramac just described a variation of my lifting list. I do Tai Chi, too, so there's some oddball New Age tracks in there, too. 1 Quote --Dreaming frees the soul, energizes the spirit and allows you to do things that would get you thrown in jail if you really tried them.-- Link to comment
KAllen
KISS, Pantera (my 2 favs), Megadeth, W.A.S.P., Queensryche, Black Sabbath, Drowning Pool, Near Life Experience, Rob Zombie, White Zombie, are the main groups as of now. Lemmy does "Shout It Out Loud") and 2 movie soundtracks (Dracula 2000 and Detroit Rock City) all on my mp3 right now. 1 Quote "A sharp knife is nothing without a sharp eye" - Koloth "Ya can't grill it until ya kill it" - Uncle Ted "If it ain't Metal...IT'S CRAP!!!" - Dee Snider Link to comment
TheGreyJedi-Ranger
3/4 of what Skillet has released since (and including) the Comatose album is usually good. I think the entirety of the Awake album is good for running and lifting both aside from one or two songs. Monster and Hero are my two songs of choice! brownbob06
I stated my lifting playlist in the theme song thread, it's full of Slipknot, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Bring Me the Horizon, Amity Affliction, System of a Down etc. etc. (You get the picture) As far as running goes, there's something about this song that just works for me. It gives me a good Rhythm to run to and is overall great music. When I opened the thread and saw Muse as the first reply I was pretty surprised lol.
