I can't see the gif. :( 

 

I feel like they normally say when you should alternate, but this one specifically mentions the left side? But also I don't know why you would do only one side? So I wasn't sure.

No, I can't now either... Anyway, if you go on the Darebee home page it shows a gif of the exercise and it swaps sides.

 

Assuming you can alternate then I've done it with EC. If not then let me know and I'll do it again one sided :)

Done with EC. I wasn't entirely sure whether I was supposed to do just the 50 on one side or do 50 alternating ones, so I figured why not do 50 on each side to be sure. Probably going to feel that one tomorrow morning...

Huh - I didn;t see the gif,so I did it all on one side... sorry if my post confused the issue!  The written description says only the one side, though...

Current Big Fat Hairy Goals:  Hip to Waist Ratio down to 88%.  Capable of 50 pushups, 100 situps, 20 pull-ups in one massive superset.  Able to do a bodyweight bench press.  Run 10K 1/week for 1 month.  Earn 2nd Degree Black Belt.

 

Why?  Because I want to model the kind of health and strength that I want my girls to have when they grow up.

Yeah, I THINK they're saying to do one side but it's really unclear so I think either can count for the sake of today's scoring.

Power grip completed with EC. I foolishly though this one would be a bit easier than the last few until about 40 seconds in, then I felt it.

Done with EC. Wasn't pleasant, but it helped distract me from the fact that next door is having some sort of construction work done, and the drilling might as well be in my living room as the walls are so thin...

I thought the same thing!  30 seconds in and I was like "whoa, this is going to be harder than I thought."  Also kept thinking "I definitely need to trim my fingernails..."

Wow, these were tough! It's hard to type. 

 

Made the mistake of doing these at the end of my workout when my grip strength was already gone. Done in 2 sets, no EC. 

 

You guys are awesome for doing these for three full minutes!

I did it. I did it. I did it. I did it!

Third try was the charm.

First try was abandoned to save my omlette.

Second try my fitness class buddies abandoned me - wusses!

Third try I was listening to  4 non-blonds' song "what's up" before my after-workout-shower and was thinking that I'm just gonna finish the remaining two minutes, a minute in I thought "everything I can do now I spare myself from going through in the last set"... then two minutes were almost up and I had the "what the heck I'm gonna get that EC" and I did. Yay power grip of death!
