I caught 2 pokemon at the dmv. My commute (via train) works great with this game. Each way I can hit 7-10 stops, there's a gym to hit at one of the stations (possibly 2). I drive during my commute, so I can't play during it.,.Right now I have to drive 15 minutes to the state university to reload, it's the only place with high density Pokestops around here. They are not nerds, and I am the one with any Pokemon background at all. Made it up to Level 4 since lunch. Working on Level 5, will probably go Team Blue when I get there. On many you have to be quick, the station is enclosed so you lose GPS (and ability to get the stop), but you are usually close enough for a little bit when entering and/or leaving the station to hit the stop. At the station near work there is a stop at the entries on each side of the station, if you have a train pass (I do), you can go in one side and out the other and hit them both. There's also a battle arena, tho I don't know yet how feasible it is to hit it up while waiting for the train, you might have to be outside of the station which isn't going to work. One poke stop on my walk to work, but it looks like there is a few if I were to walk another mile or so. I will probably have to drive and then walk around to explore to find others. I've caught 14 pokemon so far, but haven't been close to a gym yet so I have yet to pick a team. I'm already addicted though. BAD. Basically it was a woman on NYC who was selling trainer services - she would log in as you and bump your Pokemon level during the day while you were at work, or whatever. She had hourly rates (but didn't specify what they were). There is a strip of 4 stops near my house, with a gym at one end at a park, spaced so that you can make a circuit, and then go again. Here I'm thinking I'll just go make a couple circuits with the car and take over the gym. LOL, there were a solid dozen people doing the same thing, a couple of the cars were packed. There's a team of 5 blues that take over the two by my house every night, getting the gyms to level 6 and all Pokémon in them being CP 600-1200. I wanna join in, but I don't have a Pokémon to be able to train the gyms up another level. Kyellan Posted July 13, 2016 Report Share Posted July 13, 2016 There are four-ish Pokéstops on the tradeport that houses my office, but no gyms. :/ I think I'm probably going to have to venture into the downtown area of my home "city" (~30,000 inhabitants) to find one. I've managed to get to Level 6 and pick up a couple of critters that have 100+ CP though, so maybe I have a chance of helping out somewhere. Quote "You are what you do.
